On January 12, 1963, the then Bishop of the City of San Fernando, the Most Rev. Emilio A. Cinense, D.D., assisted by Msgr. Pedro D. Puno, the vicar general, concretized his dream of providing Christian education to the young men and women of Pampanga.
In response to the needs of low and middle-class families in the province, the College of Nursing was established during the leadership of Rev. Fr. Octavio M. Ramos.
The Nursing program achieved Level II accreditation from PAASCU, and it currently maintains its Level II 2nd re-accredited status.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy was introduced, leading to the rebranding of the institution as the College of Nursing and Pharmacy.
